Meet our new senior paraplanner, Jane, in your latest Murphy Wealth Team update

In this month’s team update, we’re joined by our new senior paraplanner, Jane.

Keep reading for everything you need to know about the latest addition to the Murphy Wealth family. We’re sure you’ll join us all in welcoming Jane to the team and wishing her all the best for her career with us.

And now, over to Jane.

My story before Murphy Wealth

Before starting my extensive journey in financial planning, I was fortunate to study at performing arts college in London before embarking on a four-year adventure as a professional dancer on stage, cruise ships, and hotels around the globe.

I eventually swapped my dancing shoes for a business suit and worked for several companies in London and Aberdeen where I gained invaluable experience in both national and small to medium-sized financial services firms.

This exposure helped me gain a broad and varied experience base, reinforcing my drive to provide client-focused wealth management planning and establishing a flexible approach to meeting individual client needs.

Discovering Murphy Wealth

On researching the background and culture of Murphy Wealth, I had no hesitation in applying for a paraplanner role. I met with Adrian, John, and Neil who made me feel at home from the outset. The genuine “family feel” of the company was very inviting and I was delighted to join the team.

Since meeting the wider team and our clients, it is clear that Murphy Wealth delivers on its promise to put people first with its “human first” approach.

From a governance and business standpoint, I have been impressed with the company’s transparent processes. These are well embedded, energising and benefitting the team and positively impacting working efficiency.

Working at Murphy Wealth

Since relocating to Glasgow this summer, I feel extremely lucky to have joined the team at Murphy Wealth. It’s a team of highly professional, charismatic individuals who offer their colleagues and clients warmth and compassion – with a keen (but appropriate!) sense of humour in the background.

The organisational values are refreshing in that “people” are most definitely the priority, both in terms of our clients and as a team member.

I am excited to be joining an ambitious team under strong leadership with a true vision, setting the highest professional standards. I look forward to delivering an excellent service to our clients and am fortunate to have the opportunity to demonstrate and develop my existing skills and professional knowledge, with scope and encouragement to be innovative going forward.
