What does our Human First TM ethos mean?

Our Human First™ approach is all about you, not your money. Many financial advisers talk about money straight away. We don’t believe this is the right way to do things. We get to know you on a deeper level by finding out what you’re about, your desires and goals and whether any complex areas need addressing.

We build a relationship with you before we get down to business and discuss money. Even when we do chat money, it’s about the value we can add to your lifestyle and goals. In a nutshell, this sums up our Human First™ approach.

How we do it

  • Plan

    We get straight into it during our first meeting. We look at what you have and what you want to achieve over time. We’ll ask about your life goals, ambitions, and dreams. We’ll want to know about your doubts and fears too. This is how we get to know you as a human, first.

    With all this rich information, we’ll better understand you, which will help us create a truly personal financial plan.

  • Protect

    Once we’ve created a financial plan that gives you the best chance of getting to where you want to be, we’ll start protecting what you value most.

    That might be making sure your family is financially secure, preserving the value of your savings and investments or having an effective inheritance plan. This step might involve recommending financial products, but only if you need them.

  • Grow

    Growth doesn’t just mean investment growth. We prefer to focus on your personal growth and the progress you’re making towards your goals. Everything we do is about focusing on what you need to do to turn your plan into a reality.

    We might recommend new financial products that are aligned with your core values, or it could be a case of tweaking what you already have to account for changes in your personal circumstances.

  • Repeat

    To make sure your plan continues to evolve and adapt, we go back to Step 1 and repeat the process. We all live in a fast-paced, dynamic world that sees us adapting to the multitude of things life throws at us.

    These things don’t happen just once a year, so we don’t simply “check in” with you once a year. That’s not our way. We’ll always be here for you, working for you, and helping you live a fulfilled life.
